Since a young age I was always aware of the importance of protecting my skin. Being a basketball player I spent most of the hot days of the Israeli summer outside at the basketball playground. Yet, I always made sure to constantly protect my skin by applying sun screen and wearing protective gear.
During my puberty, I suffered, like most of my friends and classmates, from acne on my face and back. It is at that time that I started developing my skincare "routine" which included using products such as cleansers and moisturizers. These routines continued throughout my 20s but had no real significance and impact on my life.
My real passion for skincare and cosmetics started to develop after I moved to the U.S. for my MBA studies at the University of Virginia and especially after moving to New York City in 2014. Through the women I met of Asian ethnicity I was exposed to the steps they took in order to maintain and protect their skin and the great products they used for doing so. Being inspired by them, I also developed a full skincare routine that I follow today which really helps provide my skin with what it needs to stay healthy and radiant.
I have to admit that I never thought of turning my passion for skincare into a career. After business school I worked for several years in the finance and technology industries. However, changes in my life have brought me to the revelation that "why not give it a shot?!"
So this is how IsraeliDew was born - the portal of Israel for the K-beauty skincare cosmetics market! My goal is to provide you with access to all the unique products and ingredients that are sourced from Asia and which help people, all over the world, improve their skin while helping them feel better about themselves.
